Job Description
Develop your career within the Special Steels BAR SALES division. We are a member of the Special Steel Group of companies, located in Sheffield at the heart of the steel and engineering industry. Our Group consists of 6 independently operational businesses covering multiple disciplines from forging, heat treatment, testing, machining and global distribution of advanced nickel-based alloys & special steels. Special Steels is the founding company of the ‘Group’, with its origins going back to 1925 and our facilities are some of the largest in the country. For exactly that reason, we have been building our Bar Sales Division and we now need to support that growth with the appointment of a full-time OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR to join our small but busy team. Duties will include general day to day administration, order entry, filing, photocopying and scanning documents. The successful candidate must be computer literate, have a good attention to detail, and possess an excellent telephone manner.
Skills Required
The role will open up further opportunities to progress within the business and a number of our current key employees started here and have moved into technical, logistics and commercial positions.
